Dark choc, salted peanut lactation treats


I got a tonne of clicks and shares of my blog post that covered lactation treats so I thought I’d post another one! These remind me of a Reece’s peanut butter cup which can only be a good thing 🙂

Dark chocolate & salted peanut lactation balls (no bake, GF, DF, vegan, refined sugar free)
1c GF oats

1c shredded coconut

1/2c dark choc chips

1tbs salt flakes or coarsely grind up some rock salt

2tbs Brewers yeast

2tbs flaxmeal (aka linseed meal)

1/2c pitted dates

1/2c melted coconut oil

1/2c crunchy peanut butter (I love the Pic’s brand)

Method: Blitz in a blender until the mixture comes together to form a ball. Shape into small balls, I got about 15 from this mix. Set in the fridge and store in a cool area (I keep mine in the freezer).

*note: Different peanut butter brands will be wetter than others, so you might need to adjust your quantities slightly once you’ve blended.
* If you’re not a peanut fan you could swap it out for any other nut butter (almond and cashew are yum!)
* These aren’t the healthiest, but they pack a flavour punch so one is enough to feel satisfied!
